CAPM Certification Requirements

To apply for the CAPM, you need to have:
  • A secondary degree (high school diploma or the global equivalent)

    AND
  • At least 1,500 hours of project experience

    OR
  • 23 hours of project management education by the time you sit for the exam.

Who is the governing body of CAPM® Course?

CAPM® is a certification provided by PMI USA , after successfully completing the training, we will provide you the course completion certificate (23 contact hour certificate) after which at any point of time you can apply for examination through official website of PMI-USA.

2. Who will be the trainer for this course? 

Training will be delivered by PMP® certified professional having more than 15 years of experience in training and consulting. 

3. Do we get any pre course study material for this course? 

Yes, you will receive study material before the training date, (Sometime we reserves until the start of workshop), and we give PMBOK® Manual on the1st day of training. 

4. Is Exam fee included in the training fees that I pay? 

No, exam fee is not included in the training fee , PMI accepts applications online through the official website of PMI-USA and exam fee is to be paid directly to PMI USA. 

5. What is the time duration of Exam and what is the Format?

Examination will be objective type with total of 150 questions and duration for the examination is three hours. 

6. Where will be the venue for this training? 

Venue details will be shared upon booking confirmation, email us at support@ialglobal.com with the course name and interested schedule, we will send you the venue details immediately. 

7. Are refreshments included in the package? 

Yes, our standard refreshments we offer is two time tea/coffee (Cookies- optional) break each day. In case of lunch we will keep you posted. 

8. Is it paper based or online exam. And where should I write my exam? 

Both the options are available. However , most common way of writing CAPM®  exam is online which is conducted through prometric centers located in all the major cities across the globe. Paper based exam is possible only if the prometric center is not available within the radius of 300Kms, organizations can also request for paper based exam if the minimum number of candidates is 10. 

9. Do you have any other training related to Project Management? 

Yes, we also conduct PRINCE2®, P3O®, PM-ACP® and MSP®. 

10. Will I get PDUs after completing this training? 

Yes, we will provide you 23 contact hour certificate after successfully completing the training.
