Understand licensing and contract requirements for Check Point software and how to maintain compliance. Develop and manage Security Policies, and understand the Rulebase for controlling network traffic. Create and manage Policy Packages for efficient and organized deployment of policies to multiple gateways. Utilize Policy Layers to segment and manage security policies for granular traffic control. Inspect and manipulate traffic flows using Check Point's stateful inspection technology. Configure Network Address Translation (NAT) to hide internal network addresses and enable communication between internal and external networks. Implement Application Control to identify and regulate applications accessing the network. Configure URL Filtering to block or allow access to websites based on corporate policies. Analyze and interpret logs to monitor network activity and troubleshoot issues. Create snapshots for system backups and understand how to perform system recovery and updates. Grasp the fundamentals of Gaia OS, including command-line interface (CLI) and web-based management. Manage user access to the Check Point environment through roles and permissions. Execute policy installations and updates to maintain optimal performance and security compliance.
